Strawberries

As the first fruit of the season, strawberries are a welcome sight after long winters limit fresh, local fruit and vegetable options. We grow a number of varieties of early-, mid- and late-season strawberries and offer both u-pick and pre-pick options. Depending on the year and the weather, field strawberries are available as early as mid-May to as late as mid-June. In 2021, we added early-season berries grown in high tunnels (aka. hoop houses). These berries are available beginning in mid- to late-April. Please follow our blog or Facebook page for updates on availability. We provide containers for u-pick but you are welcome to bring your own as well. If you bring your own, please get them weighed at the stand prior to picking.

2024 Strawberry Patch Update - Our u-pick season is now over. Thanks to all our customers who made this season so successful! We will still have pre-picked berries available at Pumpkins and More Farm Market for a limited time. Stay tuned to the website and our Facebook page for updates on other products through the season.

Freezer Beef

Purchasing freezer beef is an easy, economical way to stock your freezer with ground beef, steaks, roasts and more and have it ready when you are. Our Angus cattle are born, raised, and fed out on our family farm.  They are raised on quality pasture and fed a balanced, natural diet of forage, hay, and grain, all produced on our farm. We sell freezer beef in whole, half or quarter quantities.  Smaller quantities may also be available upon request. The beef is processed, cut, packaged and frozen at Dewig Meats in Haubstadt, IN. Cuts, quantities and packaging can be customized specifically for you and your family’s needs. Orders are currently taken twice per year. Tofal cost includes a per pound purchase price plus a processing fee paid to Dewig’s. Contact us directly for pricing and ordering details.
